Reign Of The Muscle Cars

Back in the 1950s and 1960s a revolution took place car companies with large engines in the business. It took the nation by storm, where people were buying these cars as fast as they come. It was an exciting time in the industry for both the manufacturer and their consumers. The audience was hot on Muscle Cars.

In mid 1950, the car companies offered a good number of vehicle performance different from the general product. The goal was almost on functionality and everything else. This was very good for the consumer traditional, but there was a small pocket of the market that does not work. There were people who were not satisfied with the speed and performance of these vehicles and enhance their traditional model Ts to make them run faster. This is the Original Hot rods came from, and "muscle cars" were ahead.

When the makers of the automotive industry has realized the market was there, they started produce cars a little differently. Deleting a powerful engine in a lightweight vehicle medium was the first step in meaning of the concept cars that were built for speed and power. Now, people could get a car very fast and powerful off the line assembly, instead of making various adjustments to meet their needs. This trend was quickly gaining ground and Muscle Cars were born.

What is interesting is that this type of automotive manufacturing is happening not only in America but also muscle cars shared the roads in Europe and Australia. Ford Australia, Holden team Ealer and Chrysler Australia were all major contributors to traffic in Australia. The first true Muscle Cars were produced in Australia Windsor powered Falcon XR in 1967. The popularity of muscle cars has increased to the point that the government had to intervene to regulate the speeds that were made on the highway. A notable case occurred in Sydney when a young man was caught driving his Ford Falcon Phase III 1971 GTO at speeds over 150 mph on a street very busy.

There is no doubt that this kind of speed and power were of interest to people around the world. There was some thing to have the engine in a car to go very quickly found that very interesting. Muscle Cars are a very storied past with many of different makes and models of different companies you can still see around the pipe so far.
